She coordinates and engages with the Media on Dalit and Adivasi human rights issues. She holds a Doctorate from the Centre for African Studies, JNU, and Member ASA India and Organization for Diaspora Initiatives. Her PhD research was on “Identity of the Indian Diaspora in South Africa and the Role of Media from India”.
Her research interests are Indian Identity, India-Africa Relations and Role of media in the society. She has presented numerous papers in National and International Conferences. She loves to travel and is a foodie, besides cooking and listening to calm music is her favorite pass time and gives her immense peace.
