Sushma works as a State Coordinator in Bihar. She lost her father at a very young age, and she has fought through several layers of exploitation as she grew up in a small town in Bihar. She found her family within the collective of All India Dalit Mahila Adhikar Manch and have always shared love, kindness and compassion within the group. In 2015, she travelled across America as part of the delegation of the North American Self-respect Tour. Now she conducts training for young students and actively mobilise the community for several local issue-based campaigns.
