Kalpana works as a Programme coordinator with Dalit Arthik Adhikar Andolan. Her work involves in ‘Women in Manual Scavenging’.
Kalpana started her journey as a Child Development Worker in Kalimpong Child Development Centre, after her Post graduation in Social work, she started working on Education and Health project in Tea gardens of North Bengal among the Adhivasi Communities, and continued to work on Health, Protection and Adolescent Projects in North Bengal for more than 6 years and worked with PRADAN for 2 years as a Network and Partnership Coordinator to coordinate three CSO forum/ Networks of Jharkhand.
