Mohini works as a Sate Coordinator of Haryana. She was born and brought up in Garhi Chhaju village of Samalakha, Panipat in Haryana. She belong to a poor Balmiki caste family., She faced discrimination on the basis of her caste in school where the teachers would call her by her caste names to hand out scholarships. In her village, there are separate taps for Chamar and Balmiki caste people. Having faced such untouchability from an early age, She aspired to work to bring social change.In 2006, She worked with Safai Karamchari Andolan and then later, worked with the National Commission for Dalit Human Rights [NCDHR]. Based on her work with many anti caste organisations, She received a fellowship from Dalit Foundation which supported  her economically. She did her graduation after  her son was born. She is currently preparing for her law and social work degrees. Due to her work with NCDHR, She was approached by AIDMAM to work as part of the Haryana team and She is proud to say that she is able to do a lot of important anti caste work for the empowerment of dalit communities now.
