"Fill SC/ST teacher vacancies at one go"
CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi should take steps to fill 522 vacancies earmarked for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes for the post of teachers in government arts and science colleges at one go, Puthiya Tamizhagam president K. Krishnasamy said. In a letter to the Chief Minister, the PT leader referred to the Government's move to fill 294 vacancies initially and said the subsequent announcement to fill all the vacancies in three instalments had caused concern. — Special Correspondent
