Fact Finding Report-Dalits Adivasi land struggle of Chengara

Chengara is village around 20 km from Pattanamthitta, a District HQs in Kerala state of India Where around 3580 Dalit and Adivasi Families have pitched in their Tents as part of their continuous demand for land, in the Rubber Plantation Estates owned by Harrison Malayalam, a private Company which lease period is at the edge getting completion. Harrison Malayalam holds thousands of hectares of land in various hills of Kerla and developed Tea and Rubber Plantation.
